GLOBAL Surges 3% as Broker Raises Profit Estimates Following Robust 2Q26 Performance

On Tuesday at 10:47 AM (Bangkok time), the share price of Siam Global House Public Company Limited (SET: GLOBAL) rose by 3.29% or THB 0.25 to THB 7.85, with a trading value of THB 290.49 million.

The rise in GLOBAL’s share price reflects the company’s strong performance in the second quarter of 2026. The company reported a net profit of THB 955.48 million, representing an increase of 83.61% compared to the same period last year, when the figure stood at THB 520.40 million.

The improvement was mainly driven by a reduction in cost of goods sold, which declined to THB 5,590.15 million from THB 6,102.86 million a year earlier. In addition, financial costs fell to THB 29.99 million, down 49.61% from the previous year’s THB 59.51 million, contributing to enhanced profitability.

According to Kasikorn Securities (KS), GLOBAL’s 2Q26 performance showed notable improvement, with reported profit reaching THB 955 million, up 84% year-on-year and 19% quarter-on-quarter. This figure exceeded expectations by 47%, supported by a stronger profit margin, continued recognition of profit share from its Myanmar operations, and lower interest expenses.

Despite a 0.1% year-on-year decline in revenue and a 4% decrease in same-store sales growth, these were offset by an increase in gross margin to 31.6%, attributed to higher steel prices, product price adjustments, and a growing proportion of private-label products.

In light of these developments, profit estimates for GLOBAL for 2026–2028 have been raised by 9–12%, reflecting the company’s effective cost controls and sustained margin expansion, even as same-store sales are expected to remain negative in the second half of the year.
