ASL Highlights Five Selective Picks as Thai Bourse Moves Sideways

Mr. Suchet Suktae, Deputy Managing Director, Media Marketing Department of ASL Securities, stated during the “Kaohoon” program on August 4, 2026, that the Thai stock market remains in a sideways movement, setting a support level at 1,600 points and a resistance level at 1,635 points, while Asian stock markets are trading with mixed trends. He recommended that investors focus on selective trading.

The first notable stock is BDMS. After its share price remained strongly above THB 19, the broker set a support level at THB 19 and a resistance at THB 19.80 – 20, along with a medium-term target price at THB 21.

Next is CBG. Mr. Suchet remarked that the stock is consolidating, attempting to breach the 55-baht resistance level. The support level is given at THB 50 along with a resistance at THB 53.

AMATA also stands out despite previous selling pressure. He sees support at THB 28 and resistance at THB 30; should it break through this level, it could move up to test the 32-baht threshold, supported by the shift of production bases and investment inflows into Thailand.

GLOBAL is being buoyed by strong 2Q26 earnings, the analyst noted. The target price was given at THB 8, with a support level at THB 7.50 and a next support level at nearly THB 7.

For BBL, its valuation is considered attractive with the share price at about THB 191.50, as other large bank stocks have already reached new highs. He sees an initial target price at THB 195, with the possibility to test the THB 200 level in subsequent periods.

Mr. Suchet added that the banking sector remains worth monitoring as several bank stocks have reached new highs, whereas BBL’s increase is still comparatively modest, potentially attracting more investor interest.

He also recommends keeping an eye on TRUE, whose share price has declined due to rumors regarding its major shareholders, as well as news about shareholding and earnings, which have created short-term share price volatility. However, these factors are expected to have only a short-term impact, and the THB 13.00 – 13.50 zone could be an interesting point for accumulation, with a resistance level at THB 15.

Meanwhile, the hospital sector is starting to see fund inflows, especially in big-caps like BDMS and BH, which are sector leaders, while most other hospital stocks are trading sideways. Therefore, a selective picking strategy remains important at this time.

Additionally, Mr. Suchet suggested tracking stocks associated with building materials and home retail, following positive sentiments from GLOBAL’s earnings, which may bolster related stocks such as HMPRO and CRC.

Within the electronics sector, apart from DELTA, he finds KCE and HANA interesting. If KCE breaks through the 45-baht level, it could be a positive sign for the group, while HANA may test the 40-baht level. SMT, a small-cap, is another stock to watch for movements.
