Miss Prakaiphuek Rueosopha, a Grade 11 student at Yothinburana School and a pre-degree law student at Ramkhamhaeng University, recently took part in the KH Legal Aid social law training seminar organized by KH Academy.
Prakaiphuek, a recipient of the Ligimgiew Foundation Scholarship, expressed her appreciation for the initiative, describing it as an invaluable opportunity for the public to gain legal knowledge at no cost.
Having received the scholarship from Grade 10 through to a bachelor’s degree, Prakaiphuek highlighted the significance of continuous support for students who demonstrate strong academic performance, exemplary conduct, and community-mindedness, yet face financial challenges. The scholarship is a grant that does not require repayment, aimed at fostering well-rounded youth who can contribute positively to society.
She emphasized her intention to use the new knowledge and experience gained from the KH Legal Aid seminar to develop herself and apply it in daily life for the benefit of the broader Thai community and deemed this as a way to honor those who have extended educational opportunities to her.
Founded by Mr. Prajak and Mrs. Laor Tangkaravakun, also known for establishing TOA Paint (Thailand) Public Company Limited (SET: TOA), the Ligimgiew Foundation is committed to supporting education, social development, and public health initiatives. Its mission is to promote sustainable and constructive growth within Thai society.
The foundation’s educational scholarship project stands as a key initiative, providing ongoing, no-strings-attached scholarships to talented, hardworking, and respectful students in need.
