Energy Absolute Public Company Limited (SET: EA), a Thailand-based renewable energy and electric mobility company, announced its continued success on the global stage by retaining its status in the Dow Jones Best-in-Class Indices for the fifth consecutive year in the Electric Utilities sector.
For the 2025 assessment, EA recorded an improved sustainability score of 83, up from 80 a year earlier. This increase reflects the company’s qualitative progress in operating according to international ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) standards.
The improved score highlights EA’s ability to systematically integrate ESG principles into its corporate strategy under a framework of transparency and accountability. Key drivers included excellence in corporate risk management, good corporate governance, sustainable supply chain development, and investment in clean energy innovation to create long-term value for all stakeholders.
Mr. Chatrapon Sripatum, Chief Executive Officer, said: “Retaining our standing in the Dow Jones Best-in-Class Indices for the fifth straight year, along with our improved score, reflects EA’s determination to raise our business standards to align with international practices. Even amidst a challenging business environment, the company continues to move forward with discipline, transparency, and sustainability to build long-term confidence for investors, business partners, and society at large.”
As a leader in Thailand’s clean energy sector, EA operates an integrated business covering renewable power generation, biofuels, battery technology and energy storage systems (BESS), commercial electric vehicles, and EV charging infrastructure—all essential components of a Low-Carbon Economy and the country’s energy transition.
This achievement not only reflects the maintenance of international standards but also underscores the role of the Thai private sector in driving global climate goals. EA confirms it will continue to elevate its sustainability operations to support Thailand’s Net Zero targets, creating economic value while balancing environmental and social care in the long term.
