U.S. Senate Passes Bill to Sustain Government until February, Dow Futures Lower Loss

The U.S. Senate on Thursday approved a short-term spending bill that would keep the government and its federal agencies running through February 18, narrowly escaping a partial shutdown just a day before government funding is set to expire.

The U.S. President is expected to sign the measure before the end of Friday to prevent a lapse in federal funding.

Dow Jones Futures lowered its loss from more than a hundred points earlier this morning to only 45.4 points or 0.13% as of 10:48 local time in Thailand on December 3, 2021.
