KH Academy is advancing the core mission of “Kaohoon Turakij” to contribute to advancing the quality of Thai society. The KH Legal Aid project provides legal seminars to educate the public on laws relevant to everyday life, enhancing understanding of individual rights and responsibilities while reducing the risk of legal violations.
On Saturday, July 19, 2025, KH Legal Aid hosted a lively seminar titled “Understanding Corporate Law: Empowering Investor Confidence.” The session was presented by Mr. Wuttichai Phumsanguan, Provincial Public Prosecutor attached to the Office of the Attorney General, who shared expert legal insights aimed at clarifying the duties of listed companies, as well as the rights and roles of shareholders. The event saw overwhelming participation from students and members of the public alike.
Mr. Wuttichai commented on the KH Legal Aid project, stating, “This project aims to disseminate legal knowledge to the public and students, as law is essential—it acts as a standard for everyone, whether investors, those active in the stock market, or the general public.”
“Understanding the law is beneficial in daily life, in investment, and in various business activities—even in starting one’s own company. In theory, anyone can own shares in a public company, so having knowledge of the relevant laws—such as how to assess information and detect fraud, and knowing which regulations form the foundation of these laws—is crucial. Importantly, the KH Legal Aid project is truly a social initiative as participants incur no costs for attending,” he added.
Attendees remarked that KH Legal Aid is an excellent initiative, empowering both students and the general public with valuable legal knowledge. Each seminar topic proved useful for practical application, especially regarding business—such as brand protection, necessary legal considerations for land investment, and more. Listening to in-depth explanations from a legal expert allowed them to gain practical legal knowledge they can apply in real life.
