Charoen Pokphand Group (CP Group) officially launched the “CP Innovation Exposition & Symposium 2025” event at True Digital Park, Bangkok, under the theme “Innovate the Future for a Better Tomorrow.” This event highlights CP’s commitment as a tech-driven company to propel business, the economy, and Thai society toward sustainable futures.
Now in its eighth year, the exposition features over 3,000 innovations submitted by employees from all CP business groups worldwide—valued at more than THB 40 billion economically. Over 200 works, spanning four key areas (products and services, processes, business models, and sustainability), are showcased, including both proof-of-concept and commercially scalable innovations.
The event also saw the presentation of 82 Chairman Awards, recognizing outstanding innovators from across the CP Group’s global workforce of over 500,000, and included signing ceremonies with both domestic and international partners to drive innovation excellence.
Mr. Suphachai Chearavanont, CEO of CP Group, emphasized that innovation is the creation of better solutions and a core value of CP Group. He stated that sustainable progress for the organization and society requires not just innovation, but also morality. Success doesn’t come overnight but results from learning from failure and continuous creation.
The CEO further noted, “AI is the future and will play a vital role in advancing innovation—not just for business and industry, but for consumers, society, and the environment as well.” He highlighted CP’s investments in a comprehensive innovation ecosystem, including Data Centers, Cloud, AI Labs, the development of True Digital Park, Cloud 11, and upcoming projects on Sukhumvit 50, aiming to transform Thailand into a regional innovation hub.
Mr. Suphachai added that real innovation comes from a culture that encourages risk-taking, learning from setbacks, and a willingness to try and create new things. He went on to praise and encourage all innovators, emphasizing, “Even if some works have not yet received awards, every effort is an investment in knowledge that will lead to even greater innovations in the future.”
At the CP Innovation Exposition & Symposium 2025, Chairman Awards were presented to outstanding innovators whose projects reached the final round. Charoen Pokphand Group (CPG) received 2 awards, Charoen Pokphand Foods (CPF) secured 38 awards, CP ALL (CPALL) received 17, CP Axtra (CPAXT) earned 3, True Corporation (TRUE) garnered 5, Chia Tai Company took 1, Crop Integration Business, Rice, Transportation and Services (CPCRT) was awarded 1, Perfect Companion Group (PCG) received 1, CP Group (China) won 13, and CP Group (Vietnam) claimed 1 award—making a total of 82 awards presented.
A signing ceremony was held to forge partnerships for innovation excellence, with nearly 30 leading organizations from both Thailand and abroad—including Alltech, Novonesis, IBM Thailand, Tencent Cloud, Unitree Robotics, Galaxy Space, ZTE Thailand, Huawei Thailand, Xi Xiang, Qiao Yin Group, Clobotics, AlgoSynth, Tcab Tech, Salus Biomed & GibThai, Muhdo Health, World Tech Enterprise, Lifomics, Cloudpick, Nuralogix, TechShake, Yawin, Shanghai Zixing Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Show No Limit (BT beartai), Techsauce, the National Innovation Agency (NIA), the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), Thailand Science Research and Innovation (TSRI), and the Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (GISTDA). Participation also included leading Thai and international academic and research institutions such as Chulalongkorn University, Mahidol University, Kasetsart University, and Harbour.Space from the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce—committing to building a robust innovation network nationally and globally.
Dr. Teerapon Tanomsakyut, Chief Sustainability and Strategy Officer of Charoen Pokphand Group, remarked that this cooperation goes beyond formality, aiming to create a complete innovation ecosystem, support research commercialization, and foster startups and spin-offs to build new S-Curve industries to elevate the country’s technological capabilities on the global stage. At the heart of this initiative is the CP Center of Excellence (CoE), which serves as the foundation for innovation in three core areas: 1) Bio-Tech Lab, 2) Digital & AI Lab, and 3) Data Center & Cloud CoE.
The CP Innovation Exposition & Symposium 2025 serves as a major platform for innovation inspiration, with over 30 panel sessions featuring more than 60 global technology leaders, including experts from Google Cloud, Microsoft, AWS, Huawei, Tencent, ByteDance, McKinsey & Company, MIT scholars, and top executives from Thailand. The sessions cover AI, robotics, green technology, and biotechnology—key drivers of the next century’s global economy.
The event also features a major “Technology Showcase”—one of the largest gatherings of robots and AI technology in Thailand, including humanoid robots, robot dogs, a robot boxing show from Unitree, video demos of AI and robot kitchen tech from XI XIANG, and passenger drones by Tcab Tech, offering attendees a glimpse of the future and highlighting CP’s vision of connecting the world of tomorrow with real life.
