KH Academy and WorldNexGen Delegation Received by Ministry of Finance to Strengthen Thai-Korean “Intellectual Soft Power”

In a significant move to bolster international human capital development, the inaugural WorldNexGen 2026 delegation was received today at the Ministry of Finance by His Excellency Dr. Ekniti Nitithanprapas, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, alongside Mr. Lavaron Sangsnit, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance.

The visit marks a pivotal milestone for the WorldNexGen program—a flagship international academic collaboration between Seoul National University (SNU), Thammasat University, and KH Academy. The program aims to cultivate a new generation of global leaders by bridging the gap between academic excellence and high-level economic policy.

During the visit, the 40 delegates—representing the top academic tier of Thailand and South Korea—engaged in an exclusive briefing regarding Thailand’s fiscal landscape, its role as a regional economic gateway, and the future of digital economic integration.

Dr. Ekniti Nitithanprapas, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, emphasized the importance of such networks, stating that the youth of today are the “Intellectual Ambassadors” who will drive the future of the Asia-Pacific economy. He highlighted the government’s support for initiatives that position Thailand as a central hub for talent and cross-border innovation.

Mr. Burapha Sanguanwong, Founder of KH Academy and coordinator of the program, noted: “WorldNexGen is not merely an exchange program; it is the construction of a ‘Friendly Grip’ between two of Asia’s most influential cultures. By bringing our students to the heart of Thailand’s financial policy-making today, we are providing them with the vision to lead the next 30 years of regional growth.”

The WorldNexGen 2026 program is supported by leading private sector partners, including Hoban Group, B.Grimm Power, Nakwol Blueheart, Royal Orchid Sheraton, and Kaohoon Turakij. Following the Ministry visit, the delegation will continue their immersion into Thai culture and commerce with a visit to Bangkok’s historic Chinatown (Yaowarat) to study the “Unity in Diversity” that defines Thai economic heritage.

The program will continue its activities in Thailand through January 17, before the delegation travels to Seoul, South Korea, in early February for the final phase of the exchange at Seoul National University.

About KH Academy: Founded by the leadership of Kaohoon Turakij, KH Academy is a premier educational institute dedicated to bridging the gap between classroom learning and professional excellence in the financial and capital markets.
